Originally from Northwest Indiana, I consider the Chicago area home. However, my journalism career has given me the opportunity to live and work in New Orleans, Colorado Springs, San Diego and Washington, DC—experiences that broadened my perspective and connected me with interesting people from diverse backgrounds.
At The Washington Post, I led a group of designers as design editor of the curation team, shaping visuals across digital platforms, including the homepage, app, newsletters, and social media. I also contributed to editorial strategy, content editing, and product development.
In 2022, I made the leap into proposal design, applying my storytelling and communication skills to craft winning proposals. At Hazen and Sawyer, I collaborate with top water engineers and marketers, helping secure sustainable water projects—a rewarding challenge with a direct impact on the bottom line.
